How long do you do sits for?
Typically, people tend to book for long weekends, or for one week. However, some sits I have done for 16 days, some for 9, some for 3. As long as I have availability, I am not too worried about how many days I look after your pets for you. If you would like to ask about specific time frames, please do get in touch via the 'contact me' tab above.
Do you just look after cats and dogs?
Nope! I look after any animal. I have plenty of experience with animals such as: cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, tortoises, guinea pigs, fish, horses, degus, and geckos to name a few, but I am also always willing to learn about new animals and look after those too! If you want to ask about specific species, please get in touch!
I am thinking about going away, but I am nervous about leaving my animals. What should I do?
Being nervous about leaving your pets is totally understandable. To ease some of your anxiety, I do free meet and greets, where I come to you and meet you and your animals. We discuss your pets' needs, their routine, any quirks or medical history and what you need me to do for you. These visits usually last anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour and it gives you a chance to ask me any question you have (even if you think they might sound silly). There is never any judgement from me and I will be happy to sit down and talk about your worries.
I see you post pictures on your social media.
What if I don't want my pet(s) on there?
That is totally okay! I never post pictures or videos without getting consent from the owners first. You don't ever have to give a reason, if you don't want them online, please let me know and I will refrain from doing so.
Will you send pictures and updates?
Yes, of course! As an animal lover myself, I find it so difficult to be away from my pets and I know how much a simple picture can lift my mood when I am away from them. Usually when we meet, I will ask you if you'd like me to send you updates. Some owners prefer no updates, others prefer daily and constant updates and others prefer an update every now and again. It is entirely up to you how often you'd like me to update you, no judgement from me!
Do you require deposits?
For all bookings (besides dog walks), a deposit is required to secure your booking. Due to the nature of pet sitting, last minute cancellations can be difficult to refill. The deposit therefore provides a level of protection against lost work whilst allowing me to keep my overall pricing fair and consistent.
The deposit is due 4 weeks before your booking begins. Deposits are non refundable in the event of the cancellation and more may be required, depending on how close to the booking you cancel (see cancellation policy for details).
What is your cancellation policy?
In the unfortunate event that you may have to cancel your booking, the cancellation policy is as follows:

- If you cancel with 4 or more weeks notice, you pay 0% of your booking
- If you cancel with 3-4 weeks notice, you pay 25% of your booking
- If you cancel with less than 2 weeks notice, you pay 50% of your booking
- If you cancel with less than 1 weeks notice, you pay 100% of your booking

Due to the nature of being a small business owner, cancellation policies are needed. This is due to the fact that I will not be likely to fill your spot and will be losing out on a lot of money through no fault of my own. I hope you understand. Please contact me to discuss any further questions about cancellations.
